Where do you ship from?
All pieces are handmade and shipped from Queensland, Australia. You’ll receive tracking once your order is dispatched.
How should I care for my Coastal Muse garment?
- Our corsets are made from vintage, deadstock fabrics & handmade materials and therefore must be treated carefully. We recommend dry clean only or a cool hand wash then laid flat to dry in the shade. Most pieces are made from cotton or a cotton blend and can be ironed with a warm iron.
- Do not machine wash, bleach, soak or tumble dry.
- Some fabrics are delicate so please be careful when wearing and do not tug too hard on the eyelets.
Do you offer custom corsets?
Yes — a limited number of custom pieces are available each month.
Whether you need a unique size, a longer torso, or have a specific fabric or vision in mind, I’d love to create something just for you. Custom corsets are perfect for special occasions, unique silhouettes, or simply when you want something that feels entirely your own.

Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes. If you fall outside the sizing chart or have specific fit concerns, we’d love to create a corset just for you.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, We do.
Our products are shipped with Australia Post unless you have been notified otherwise.
Once your item is shipped, you will receive tracking information via email. Coastal Muse is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
What about customs fees for international orders?
International customers are responsible for any customs or import fees. If you decline to pay customs and your parcel is returned, we cannot issue a refund.

What is your returns & exchange policy?
Returns and Exchanges
At Coastal Muse, we want you to fall in love with your pieces. We offer custom measurements to ensure a perfect fit. Please note the following policies for custom orders:
- No Returns, Cancellations, or Exchanges: Custom orders are made individually for each customer. Therefore, we cannot accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges.
- No Refunds for Change of Mind: Once an order is placed, we cannot offer refunds for a change of mind.
Customer Satisfaction: If you are in any way unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within three days of receiving your order. We will do everything we can to ensure you have a positive Coastal Muse experience.
Faulty Garments: In the very rare circumstance that you receive a faulty garment, we will happily replace it and cover all freight costs. Please keep in mind that our handmade garments are made from recycled fabric, and the exact print may be sold out.
